The Project

We helped to produce a highlight video featuring a high school student from the Clark County School District who won the Madden championship at the GamerFest event on February 4, 2024. This video offers insights into his mindset, career ambitions, and the benefits of esports beyond just being a player.

Our Contribution

We supported the video production from concept to final cut, ensuring it aligned with USAEL’s mission of promoting esports as a pathway to career and college readiness.

We conducted a structured interview that portrayed the athlete’s passion, resilience, and dream-driven mindset.

We crafted engaging visual storytelling optimized for social channels, enhancing USAEL’s visibility and messaging to students, parents, and educators.

Delivered

A polished, short-form video featuring key highlights and motivational quotes from the champion.

Social-ready formatting and optimized subtitles for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

A video narrative that reinforces esports as a vehicle for educational and career development, not just competition-focused.

Results & Impact

Increased awareness: The video boosted USAEL’s engagement across social platforms, bringing their message to a broader K-12 audience.

Positive sentiment: The athlete’s story reinforced the idea that esports can forge soft skills and open “orbital” career pathways—not just for pro gamers, but for coders, broadcasters, event managers, and more.

Educational value alignment: It echoed USAEL’s core pillars of competition, curriculum, and career readiness, reinforcing their brand identity through real-world storytelling

By helping to produce this highlight video, we amplified a real student’s voice within the evolving narrative of academic esports. Our work elevated USAEL’s mission—demonstrating how passion for gaming transforms into tangible opportunities in STEM and beyond.
